ReCreate is a new project, working with young residents in temporary accommodation, most often in hotels. These young people live with their families in one room and have little outlet for their physical or mental energy.

ReCreate uses drama to encourage creativity and stimulate imaginations, ReWrite uses creative writing and discussion to inspire connectivity, conversation and creativity.

Sessions take place weekly and aim to support their learning and integration into the UK whilst encouraging sociability, creativity and positive interaction with their peers.

In summer 2023 we celebrated the Wandle Fortnight with the group and explored the wildlife of the area, tying this into to drama activities around the story of The Wind in the Willows.
