ReCreate and ReWrite are projects, working intergenerationally with residents in temporary accommodation, most often in hotels.
ReWrite uses creative writing and discussion to inspire connectivity, conversation and creativity.
Sessions aim to support participants’ learning and assimilation into the UK, whilst encouraging sociability, creativity and positive interaction with their peers. Sessions are intergenerational and incorporate both adults and children, building familial bonds and understanding.
These young people often live with their families in one room and have little outlet for their physical or mental energy. ReCreate uses drama to encourage creativity and stimulate imaginations.
Sessions support English language development and assimilation into UK culture. We advise them on how to navigate ‘normal’ situations like taking public transport, buying a coffee or going to the Doctor.
